Abelberith

ABELBERITH (or Abi, they/she) is a queer interdisciplinary designer + illustrator and writer from Indonesia based in Vancouver, BC. They are pursuing their undergraduate degree in Emily Carr University of Arts + Design. Involving both analogue and digital techniques, their practice is often based on an intersectional and decolonial approach towards topics of social justice, queerness, immigrant experience, growth and change to name a few. Relating to this, they often work to support local youth and arts communities. Outside of work, Abi likes to spend their free time messily playing the piano, walking at the beach, or visiting random niche stores. You can find them lurking around town on Instagram, @abelberith.
